Welcome to the on-line discussion forum for the up-coming publication Savings Groups at the Frontier. This book is a follow-on to the Arusha Savings Group Summit (ASGS), and is the second publication of the Savings Led Financial Services Working Group (SLWG ) of the SEEP Network. The publication of this book is made possible by the generous support of The MasterCard Foundation . The book will be completed in early 2012 and will have chapters corresponding to some of the major themes from the ASGS.
Each chapter has an editor who will put together the chapter drawing on widespread participation from the Savings Group Community. That is why this page exists – we need your participation!

Each chapter section displays the latest version of the chapter and a detailed outline. You are invited check back regularly to read the latest versions of each chapter and provide your feedback to the authors.
You can help the authors create well informed chapters in three ways: make public comments in the comment box at the end of each chapter, send the authors detailed comments via email, and share reference materials and case studies with the authors via email (email addresses provided at the beginning of each chapter).
The editors will consult their section frequently and will read, acknowledge, and when appropriate respond to your comments.
